Central Valley German Shepherd Rescue

Central Valley German Shepherd Rescue is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that rescues German Shepherds in need throughout California's Central Valley. Dogs come from surrendering families, strays and overcrowded shelters, and every rescue receives a veterinary exam, vaccinations, deworming, parasite prevention, microchipping and spay or neuter when appropriate. Rather than being kept in kennels, each dog lives with a foster family who learns how they behave with kids, other animals and everyday life, helping the rescue match them with the right adopters. The organization also helps owners who can no longer keep their German Shepherd find a responsible new home, and welcomes volunteers and foster families to support its mission.
