FDC Services is a technical consultancy specialising in variable frequency drive (VFD/VSD) systems for oil and gas and other heavy industries. Led by Farid Al Zakwani, who has more than 25 years of experience with low- and medium-voltage drives in onshore and offshore settings across Oman, North Africa and West Africa, the firm covers the full drive lifecycle. Its work includes commissioning and programming, fault troubleshooting, workshop repair with root cause analysis, drive database configuration and tuning, and support for refurbishing VFD skids and panels. It also offers hands-on training in drive theory, operation and maintenance. Domain experience extends to artificial lift applications, steam generators and gas turbines.
