Cerkular is a circular design studio based in Lagos, Nigeria, that transforms discarded plastic into thoughtfully crafted furniture and home objects. The business collects, assesses and sorts plastic waste, then works with original makers to design pieces with a story. Beyond selling collection items like lighting and furniture, Cerkular invites people to offer plastic materials for assessment, join its community of circular makers, or propose custom design collaborations. The studio was founded by Akinbuwa Ifeoluwa Tobiloba, who studied Civil and Environmental Engineering and has experience in industrial waste management, bringing both technical and creative perspectives to redefining how waste is seen and used.
