Advancing science through bioimaging across Kenya and East Africa
Kenya Bioimaging Consortium (KBIC) is a collaborative network supporting life science research through advanced bioimaging technologies. It unites microscopists, biologists, chemists, physicists and data scientists to build capacity, community and shared access to modern imaging equipment across Kenya and the wider East African region. KBIC offers training for scientists at every career stage, infrastructure access, and collaborative knowledge-sharing in image analysis and research techniques. The consortium aims to foster regional collaboration, expand bioimaging infrastructure, and integrate Kenya into the broader African and global bioimaging community. Membership is free and open to all science disciplines interested in advancing bioimaging research.
