Adopt for Humanities

Adopt for Humanities is a Ugandan community charity dedicated to supporting people who are often overlooked, including bedridden individuals, elderly people, children with disabilities, and families facing hardship. Volunteers visit homes, streets and villages to provide practical care: delivering dignity beds and clean bedding, preparing hot meals, cleaning living spaces, and offering companionship and consistent follow-up visits. The organisation emphasizes presence and patience, aiming to restore dignity to those living in isolation or poverty. Rather than one-off aid, it focuses on ongoing relationships, returning repeatedly to those it serves. The charity invites donations and volunteer involvement to help extend its outreach to more forgotten communities in Uganda.
