Ian Maree is a largely self-taught South African artist who works primarily in oils on canvas, also exploring acrylic and charcoal. His portfolio spans four collections: Pop Art, Portraits, Nature and Africa, each exploring colour, character and perspective. Subjects range from bold pop-art graphics and expressive portraits to wildlife studies and scenes of everyday African life and people. The site showcases his selected works and invites visitors to explore his collections or get in touch about availability of pieces or commissioning a personal work inspired by his existing art.
