RetroTX

RetroTX is a Windows application that enhances any HDMI input in real time using NVIDIA RTX-powered processing. It lets players keep their original consoles and physical games while upgrading the presentation for modern displays, adding clarity, upscaled resolution, HDR, ultrawide support, and CRT shader effects. Beyond retro hardware, RetroTX can also boost current-generation consoles, turning 1080p performance modes into 4K HDR while preserving frame rate. Users can preview, record, and capture their enhanced output directly, including export to OBS for sharing. The tool is designed for collectors and gamers who want to preserve the feel of original hardware while experiencing it on today's screens. Currently offered as an early access release scheduled for October 2026.
