EHUIF-FVAS
The Basque federation for underwater sports and diving activities
Description
EHUIF-FVAS is the Basque Federation of Underwater Activities, bringing together clubs and practitioners across Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa. It manages a single federative license covering six disciplines: scuba diving, freediving (apnea), spearfishing, finswimming, underwater photography and underwater shooting. The federation publishes news, competition results, sporting calendars and official documents, and provides insurance coverage and accident protocols for members. It also oversees club governance, transparency, equality initiatives and federative history. Divers and clubs can find information on courses, official titles, competitions and how to join a local club through the federation's online registration process.
