Freelog is a free bookkeeping tool built for individual owner-operator truck drivers rather than fleets. It keeps loads, fuel purchases, MPG, IFTA miles, maintenance schedules, expenses and logbook entries all in one place, accessible from a phone. The app calculates rate per mile from load data, computes real tank-to-tank MPG, breaks out IFTA miles by state each quarter, tracks maintenance due dates, and organizes expenses into categories relevant to trucking. It can scan receipts to auto-fill totals, dates and vendors, and tracks days away from home for per diem purposes. Users can share selected data with a dispatcher, partner, accountant or spouse.
