Inssi

Inssi is a Finnish mobile app that records practice driving lessons using a phone's cameras and sensors, then evaluates them by the same criteria used in Finland's official driving exam. It targets learner drivers with a driving permit, driving school students, and their parents or instructors. The app tracks speed, braking, indicator use, pedestrian crossings and gaze direction automatically, while instructors mark issues like unexpected interventions using large on-screen buttons. Results are shown immediately after each drive, including a map of observations and progress comparisons over time. A free quick test is offered, with paid options for full driving tests and a year-long teaching permit package.
