Austro Lounge

Austro Lounge occupies the former border waiting room on Dean Street in Albury, a room where trains once changed gauge. The venue keeps five card tables set into the original bench bays, along with a kitchen serving Murray fish and Riverina cheese and a bar offering fortified wine. There are no gaming machines, no wagering and no online play — games are for house chips only, with no monetary value. The evening splits into two legs with a changeover at nine, when tables are redrawn. Over-18s only, with ID checks possible. The space seats around fifty-five and runs a five-night programme with varying formats each evening.
