Novix Packing Shed

Novix Packing Shed occupies a former apple packing shed on Summer Street in Orange, converted into a licensed kitchen and card room. The original steel frame, sawtooth roof, and cool store remain, along with six hardwood sorting benches now re-felted for card play. The venue serves cool-climate food using local produce and offers a card room with points-based play only — no gaming machines, cash prizes, or online play of any kind. Entry is free but strictly 18 and over. A beginners' card bench runs weekly for newcomers. The space holds around fifty people and mixes food service with a low-key, non-gambling social card scene rooted in the building's packing history.
