Bondix Shaping Bay

Bondix Shaping Bay occupies a former surfboard shaping bay on Jonson Street in Byron Bay, keeping the original racks, planes and sanding blocks on display. It offers five card tables built on the old shaping stands, alongside a coastal kitchen and bar serving local catches and hinterland produce. Play is social only: nothing is staked or cashed, and chips made from resin offcuts simply count points for the evening. Three tables are open walk-in, two can be reserved for groups, and a free teaching table runs Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. The venue is adults only, with doors opening around sunset and closing at 11:30pm.
