Limestone Hall

Limestone Hall is a dining room and card hall set inside a former limestone cutters' workshop on Commercial Street East in Mount Gambier. The venue keeps the old gantry rail, dust chute and timber templates from its three generations as a stone-cutting shed, and now hosts a dining room seating fifty-two plus five card tables. Games such as five hundred, canasta, crib and casual hold'em are played socially, with lent counters used only to keep score – there is no wagering, no cash prizes and no online play. Staff on the floor teach games and help reseat tables. The hall is for adults aged 18 and over.
