ALTÉ

ALTÉ is a Perth-based events and culture brand celebrating the alternative wave of Afro-fusion music, including Afrobeats, amapiano, dancehall, R&B and hip-hop. Founded by Sean Ofoyela and Ninh Do, it runs club nights, brings touring artists to Perth, and publishes mixes and features documenting the scene. Its flagship format, Face 2 Face, pairs two DJs facing each other with the crowd surrounding them, a concept first brought to Australia in 2024. ALTÉ also hosts Apartment Mix daytime sessions. The brand draws on the Nigerian alté movement, centred on self-expression through music, fashion and image, welcoming anyone who connects with the sound.
