Description
Range Academy is an MMA and martial arts gym on Bristol Road in Gloucester, running since 1996. Led by Mark "The Wizard" Weir, former UFC fighter, the academy offers classes in mixed martial arts, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling for all ages and abilities. Programmes include a young adults class for ages 6 to 14, strength and conditioning sessions, and a women-only bootcamp led by certified coach Tamara Weir covering kickboxing, conditioning and self-defence. Most classes run in the evenings, with weekend mornings reserved for jiu-jitsu, cardio and the bootcamp. The gym is closed on UK bank holidays and also offers one-to-one sessions by arrangement.
