Abashiri Drift Ice Cruise

Abashiri Drift Ice Cruise is a travel information site comparing tours that include Japan's Aurora icebreaker, which sails from Abashiri into the drift ice of the Sea of Okhotsk each winter. The site reviews three tour options available through GetYourGuide and Viator, including a private day trip from Abashiri and two-day coach tours from Sapporo, explaining costs, logistics and details often left out of the original listings. It covers the best time to see the ice, what to expect on board, travel options from Sapporo, and nearby attractions such as the Abashiri Prison Museum. The site aims to help travelers choose the tour that best matches their time, budget and group size.
