السكينة (Al-Sakina)

Al-Sakina is a student-led initiative at the National School of Applied Sciences in Beni Mellal, Morocco, built around a yearly Ramadan competition for Quran memorization and recitation. It also offers a digital platform that accompanies engineering students throughout the year, helping them maintain and review their memorization with weekly goals and progress tracking. The competition features categories based on memorization level, judged by a committee, with recognition for winners. The project is supported by institutional partners including the school, the local scientific council, and a student association, combining engineering-style discipline with ongoing religious practice.
