Chasing Medicine

Chasing Medicine offers honest, firsthand advice for premeds and medical students navigating the path to becoming a doctor, from boards and rotations to choosing a specialty. Created by Alex Baur, DO, who recently went through the process, the site provides free interactive tools including a score tracker, a specialty-matching quiz, and a dedicated study planner. It also addresses the mental side of training, with resources on burnout and balance. Content is tailored to each stage of training, from premed through Match Day, with specific guidance for DO students on COMLEX and USMLE exams. The site avoids upselling or comparison games, focusing instead on practical, experience-based support.
