Fabelia

Fabelia is a mobile app offering short 5–8 minute retellings of public-domain fairy tales, folk tales and classic short stories, narrated in Turkish, English, Russian and Spanish. Users can listen with synchronized text highlighting, or switch to a silent Read-It-Yourself mode with adjustable reading speed. Each story includes gentle after-story questions for reflection, with two reading levels for younger readers and adults. Because every title appears in all four languages, the app also works as a language-practice tool, letting users read a familiar story in a language they're learning. The interface features a calm, tactile design with dark mode and dyslexia-friendly fonts. Free to start, with one credit unlocking each story permanently.
