Global Community Change and Development Initiative (GCCDI)

GCCDI is a non-governmental organization working to improve health, education, wellbeing and opportunities for women, children and vulnerable communities in Sokoto, Nigeria. The organization partners with communities, government institutions, civil society groups, schools and health facilities to design practical, evidence-informed initiatives rooted in community participation. Guided by values of dignity, inclusion, integrity, accountability and sustainability, GCCDI aims to empower vulnerable populations through health, education, research and community-driven development. Its mission centers on listening to communities and involving them in identifying priorities and solutions, with a vision of a future where women, children and vulnerable communities are healthy, informed, protected and empowered to reach their full potential.
