Global Indigenous Management

Global Indigenous Management presents GIFFTE, the Global Indigenous Fashion Festival & Trade Expo, running 7–11 April 2027 at Melbourne Showgrounds. The event brings together Indigenous-owned businesses, designers and brands with buyers, retailers and industry leaders for trade engagement, international runway showcases and a Gala Awards Night celebrating First Nations fashion and design. Featuring designers from Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, the Pacific Nations, South East Asia, Canada and Native American communities, GIFFTE builds on 13 years of experience through Melbourne Fashion Festival and the Indigenous Runway Project, which has supported over 2,000 First Nations young people since 2012. The festival creates opportunities for trade, cultural exchange and global connection.
