Kim Suhwan (김수환)

This is the personal portfolio of a backend developer who single-handedly plans, builds, and operates a location-based chat app called Jipkok, available in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. The developer handles everything from planning to server (Kotlin, Spring Boot), mobile app (React Native), admin panel (Next.js), and infrastructure (AWS, Cloudflare). The site details technical work including database performance optimization, testing pipelines, and troubleshooting real production issues such as connection pool exhaustion and async task execution problems. It highlights a focus on measurement, verification, and documenting design decisions, showcasing concrete performance improvements and system architecture choices for the app's features.
