Le Chai d’Oras

Le Chai d'Oras is set in a former armagnac warehouse near the cathedral in Auch, keeping the original oak vats, gauge rods and terracotta floor. The front room serves a short Gascon menu built around local producers, including farm poultry, duck, beans and sheep's cheese, alongside a cellar of regional wines and armagnacs ranked by vintage. Behind the dining room, five card tables offer belote, tarot and friendly poker games played for points only, with house chips holding no monetary value and no online or betting games involved. Entry is restricted to adults 18 and over. After 11pm, the kitchen closes but the counter continues with cured meats, toast and foie gras. The room seats up to fifty people.
