Rouen's historic maritime, commercial and industrial circle since 1726
Le Lloyd Rouennais is a private circle founded in 1726, bringing together figures from Rouen's maritime trade, commerce and industry. Rooted in nearly three centuries of tradition, the Cercle values discretion and the passing down of relationships between its members. It hosts a monthly dinner-conference on the third Thursday, continuing a long heritage of exchange and mutual support among businesspeople in the region. Originally established as the Chambre Saint-Georges, the circle evolved through several names and forms before adopting statutes in 1887 and opening membership to women in 2017. It remains one of the oldest circles of its kind in France.
