Levant Development Initiative

Levant Development Initiative is a non-profit, independent and non-partisan association based in Malmö, Sweden. It works to connect Sweden and Syria through development, empowerment, entrepreneurship and cultural exchange. The organisation focuses on individual empowerment through training and advisory support, small-scale development and entrepreneurship projects, knowledge and capacity building, and strengthening cultural and social ties between Swedish and Syrian communities. Its activities take place both in Sweden and internationally, including Syria, following applicable regulations. The association believes sustainable change happens when people gain the knowledge, skills and opportunities to shape their own communities, serving individuals and local initiatives seeking growth, cooperation and cultural connection.
