Description

Omi Naengmyeon is a family-run noodle restaurant in Goseong, on Korea's east coast near Ayajin Beach, now in its third generation. Its signature dish is myeongtae-hoe naengmyeon, cold noodles topped with semi-dried pollock marinated in a sweet and tangy chilli dressing, a dish tied to refugees from Hamgyong who settled along this coast. The restaurant has been featured on Korean television programs 'Tasty Guys' (2019) and 'Heo Young-man's Food Travel' (2020), and has accumulated thousands of visitor reviews online. Located close to the DMZ, it's a popular stop for travelers heading toward the Unification Observatory or driving along the coastline in Goseong.
