Platoon Tours is a Tanzanian safari company founded by two brothers and former soldiers, offering founder-guided journeys through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and Zanzibar. Every safari is personally led by one of the founders rather than outsourced to freelance guides, with small groups kept intimate for a more personal pace. The team brings trained medical knowledge and pre-mapped emergency routes for added safety, along with local expertise in Tanzania's parks, culture, and wildlife. They design tailor-made trips, from luxury to budget-friendly and family experiences, aiming to take travelers off the beaten path to authentic local communities rather than typical tourist destinations.
