Reef Lounges

Reef Lounges operates out of a converted charter office on Shute Harbour Road in Airlie Beach, keeping the old compressor and tank rack as part of the room. The venue offers nine card tables for social games like five hundred, cribbage, canasta and friendly hold'em, played for points only — no stakes, no prize pools and nothing played online. A reef kitchen serves simple dishes based on the morning's catch from Shute Harbour, alongside a small bar. The night runs across two tides, an earlier quieter sitting and a busier later one. Run by five locals, the space is strictly for adults over 18, with no gaming machines or wagering involved.
