SAVONARI

SAVONARI is an independent artisan textile studio creating handcrafted bags inspired by the weaving traditions of Dehong, Yunnan. Working with local artisans and independent weaving workshops, the studio produces familiar bag shapes made from richly textured, handwoven textiles, including traditional reweaving practices and Jingpo brocade. Because each piece is made by hand from unique fabric, no two bags are exactly alike, with natural variations in texture, pattern, and color. SAVONARI aims to bring these distinctive handcrafted pieces to independent boutiques beyond their place of origin, helping keep traditional craftsmanship part of everyday life, and welcomes wholesale inquiries from retailers.
