Scrambled Eggs

Scrambled Eggs is a browser-based tool for songwriters who want to sketch lyrics based on rhythm and rhyme rather than meaning. Users can lock words by sound or meaning, reroll unlocked words or whole sections, and build a word cloud of related terms to spark ideas. Each word's syllables and stress pattern can be adjusted manually, and custom lines can be typed in and automatically split into rhythm-matching slots. Projects can be saved and reopened, and finished lyrics exported as plain text. The tool uses the Datamuse word API for suggestions, but all lyrics stay in the user's browser. Made by Bruderklang.
