ScrubsAndScrolls creates clinician-led illustrated health stories, educational content, and talks for healthcare and community organizations. Founded by Sam T. Vang, the project turns complex health topics into accessible narratives, using original characters like Dr. Noteworthy to connect clinical information with everyday questions. Current work includes storybooks such as The Sugar Alchemist, about type 2 diabetes, and The Silent Warrior, about high blood pressure, used in community settings like the Tule River Lunch & Learn. The business offers speaking engagements and educational content, and collaborates with organizations to make health conversations more approachable through storytelling and illustration.
