Sevasteia

Sevasteia is a registered charity based in London dedicated to preserving and sharing Pontic Greek history, culture and heritage. It teaches traditional Pontic dance through weekly classes for beginners and advanced students, alongside sharing music and researching the history and traditions of the Pontic Greek people. Founded by individuals with deep respect for their ancestors' story, the society welcomes both community members and anyone curious to learn, aiming to give Pontic culture a lasting home in multicultural London. It advances education through cultural events, workshops and community activities that support cultural awareness and intergenerational transmission of traditions.
