SNOW BIRDS

SNOW BIRDS provides seasonal home-watching services for homeowners who leave their Long Island properties during winter, operating from October through April on the North Shore of Nassau County. Run by two local owners, the service includes regular interior and exterior walk-throughs checking for leaks, frozen pipes, heat and power issues, flushed toilets and running faucets, mail and package pickup, and security checks for storm damage or break-ins. The team also arranges and oversees driveway plowing, billed separately. After each visit, clients receive a report with photos if anything needs attention. The goal is to catch problems early so homeowners can return in spring to a house exactly as they left it.
