Someni Afrika Foundation

Someni Afrika Foundation is a nonprofit based in Nairobi, Kenya, dedicated to improving learning environments for children in rural African communities. The foundation focuses on the everyday conditions that make education possible, including safer classrooms, school essentials like uniforms, bags and books, and nutritious school meals. Its approach begins with listening to schools and communities before shaping practical support, and it invites partners, donors and volunteers to help build these initiatives together. Rather than presenting itself as already established, the foundation outlines planned initiatives it hopes to develop in partnership with schools and local communities, centring on listening, collaboration and addressing real needs on the ground.
