Subline

Subline is a matchmaking service connecting Austin-area builders, remodelers and general contractors with vetted local trades such as electricians, painters and landscapers. Builders describe a project's scope, trade and timing, and Subline matches them with a single available, interested sub rather than a pool of competing bidders. Before recommending anyone, Subline checks licensing where required, track record, relevant experience with builders on new construction and remodels, and reliability. The service is free for builders and GCs, while trades pay per introduction, only for projects they choose to bid on. Founded and run by Franz Wolfeneck, it's a small, hands-on operation aimed at building lasting working relationships between builders and trades.
